Learn to Care offers
a range of work-based learning and development opportunities to
employers, employees and volunteers in the Kent area.
We aim to:

Enable you to
maximise your chances of success by supporting you to choose
the most appropriate learning to match your current job role
and aspirations.

Support you
during your learning programme with appropriate advice and
guidance in relation to your learning journey and employment
responsibilities.

Help you
progress in learning and at work by developing your ability
to learn, develop new skills and gain new qualifications.

Help you to
apply new learning to your current job role and support you
with making decisions and choices to continue your
professional development.

Work alongside
employers to provide up to date information and advice
related to workforce development and funding opportunities.

Promote and
support equality of opportunity by providing services to
meet the needs of all, regardless of ability, age, gender,
sexual orientation, ethnicity or any other factor.
We offer:

Initial
information, advice and guidance on learning options,
qualifications, support with learning, funding and advice to
employers.

Embedded and
on-going information, advice and guidance and support on
learning and work issues through personal one to one
tutoring, assessment and resources, and through access to
specialist adult careers advisory services such as nextstep.

Information,
advice and guidance on progression routes within work-based
learning as you reach the end of your current learning
programme.

We will:

Maintain and
publicise up-to-date information on all our courses, programmes
and support service.

Use trained and
occupationally competent staff to embed and provide advice.

Respond to all
enquiries promptly.

Refer to other
learning providers and specialist organisations if we are not
able to meet your needs in full.

We will treat all
enquiries to the centre and any information we receive in
complete confidence and will only share it with your permission.

One to one visits
with an advisor who will visit you at your workplace.

Advisory visits to
discuss funding and learning opportunities with your employer.

Support to you and
your employer to access funding or refer you to the Train to
Gain brokerage service.
Feedback on our
services
We regularly seek
feedback on our services to ensure that our services are continually
developed and improved. If our services do not meet your
expectations we aim to try and resolve any concerns informally at
first. If the matter cannot be resolved full details of our
complaints procedure can be found in the Learner Handbook and the
Employer Commitment Pack or by telephoning the Operations Manager on

days.
