Learn to Care is
taking part in the Learner Views and
Employer Views 2009/10 surveys.
Take part – we need your views!
What’s it all about?
What are your views of your learning experience
with Learn to Care? Now’s your chance to have your say –
your views matter! This is part of a national
survey and learners in every college and
learning provider in England will be taking
part.
The Learner Views survey starts on 1 October
2009 and runs until the New Year. You can
express what you think about the quality of
teaching and your satisfaction with your
learning experience, the support you are given
and how you are treated.
How do I take part?
It’s an online survey and can be completed using
your Assessor's laptop.
Alternatively, you can access the survey at any
time during the survey period by logging in at
http://ffe.lsc.gov.uk/Surveys/
*** PLEASE NOTE ***
WHEN ASKED FOR
THE CODE NUMBER OF YOUR LEARNING PROVIDER YOU
NEED TO ENTER 10028742 (NOT
THE ONE QUOTED IN YOUR LETTER) HOWEVER YOUR
PERSONAL LERNER NUMBER REMAINS THE SAME
Your Assessor will provide you with the
required passwords. The survey is very short,
taking three to four minutes for most learners
to complete.
Do my views count?
Your views are essential! This is your
opportunity to feed back your comments about
your learning experience to the Learning and
Skills Council (the LSC is the body that funds
your learning). Your views will be used to
generate a measure of the performance of Learn
to Care
which can be compared against other colleges and
providers in England. This rating will help us
to see how well we are doing compared with other
organisations and to respond accordingly. It
will also help future learners to decide if they
want to learn at our organisation.
What happens when the survey is
finished?
In spring 2010, the LSC will send us the results
and it’s up to us how we decide to share them.
This year the survey results will be made
public. It is hoped that the results will help
learners like you make more informed decisions
about where they want to study.
Is the data safe?
Yes. All the research
work is undertaken by the research companies
Ipsos MORI and RCU and is carried out in
accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and
guidelines agreed by the Market Research
Society.
